Indian Prime Minister to visit Ghana July 2

The Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi, will make a two-day official visit to Ghana from Wednesday, July 2, to Thursday, July 3, 2025.

A statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, said the visit shows the strong and friendly ties between Ghana and India.

During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will meet President John Dramani Mahama at the Presidency. Their talks will focus on ways to improve cooperation in important areas that both countries care about.

They will discuss working together in trade, investment, agriculture, technology, education, healthcare, and energy. The two leaders will also share ideas on regional and global matters of common interest.





During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, Ghana and India will sign several bilateral agreements to strengthen their partnership. After the signing, President John Dramani Mahama and Prime Minister Modi will hold a joint press conference.

The Presidency will also organize a State Dinner to honor Prime Minister Modi and his team.

According to the statement, the visit is expected to build stronger ties between Ghana and India, boost economic cooperation, and deepen the friendship between their people.
